How it's calculated
- Grade points = Grade value × Credits (for each course)
- GPA = Total grade points ÷ Total credits
Letter grades use the common 4.0 scale: A = 4.0, A− = 3.7, B+ = 3.3, B = 3.0 and so on down to F = 0.
Courses with more credits count more. An A in a 4-credit course raises your GPA more than an A in a 1-credit course.
